The Hughes 9450 is a broadband satellite IP terminal and WLAN (Wi-Fi Hot Spot) access point. It is the world's smallest mobile BGAN terminal allowing users to connect at IP broadband speeds of up to 464 kbps while on-the-move. A budget-friendly and highly competitive mobile terminal, it is ideal for government, first responders, public safety, mobile healthcare, and remote mobile fleet personnel in industries such as utility, oil and gas, forestry, cable, and telecommunications. The Hughes 9450 terminal is fully approved for operation on Inmarsat’s Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) satellite service and provides high-performance, on-the-move connectivity for the most demanding environments.
